There's an ice area beyond mountain pass; not sure what else.
I already completed "The Plan". I heard something in the forums a while ago about needing the dragon to get to the last boss. Is this the dragon with the toothache? What level were you when you defeated Merificus? Is he still at the mansion? Does killing him end the game, or can I still wander about and complete quests? Where do I find good mounts? SO much cool stuff to explore!

I still haven't beaten Merificus who I understand is the last boss. Maybe I mis-spoke but I thought "The Plan" was the main questline (but now realize it might change names as you complete aspects). Once Merificus is defeated I understand you can still roam (also developers mentioned expansion but not sure where this would come in).

Toothache dragon takes you to one point within the main quest.

Updated to 3.01. Still crashes at entrance to Uthu's Fortress. I'm lvl 46 but want to complete this quest. It *bugs* me. No pun intended.

I have even rebooted the phone but it still crashes.

I know more updates will come down the road. My iPad 2 arrives in two days so I will see if it crashes on there.

Question... sometimes when I am fighting a monster, when they are close to dying, they get surrounded by blue spiraly lines. Does that mean something special? Or just that they are close to dying? Also, what do the green numbers that show up during a battle mean? They're positive numbers, so they aren't damage.
(edit: you can see both the spiraly blue lines and the positive green number at the 12:18-12:21 mark in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hG_KlvAAVo0)

Also, I think it should have been made more obvious that you need to max a skill on the skill tree before moving to the next skill. I was trying for the longest time to figure out why I couldn't put any points into sneaking.

If you summon your horse, and he constantly bucks you off, is that a bug, or is it because your horse is skittish? This might have been made a bit more clear as well, methinks. Also the mount has caused me to experience some really weird clipping issues, anyone else fall through mountains, etc, when dismounting?

Anyway... great game, really fun. Glad I bought it. :-D

I didn't watch the video (my connection's not great), but that sounds like they're doing a healing spell (green numbers = HP they gained).

I''m sure you've noticed that if you bump into a tree, rock, etc.. while riding you fall off... I know I have
Maybe you're just mounting up too close to things like that. I've had that problem. If you're going a direction other than the one the beast is already facing at summoning, it's pretty easy to accidentally hit anything near you while it turns. I try to make a point of mounting well away from objects. Maybe that's not what you're talking about though?

(I think you mentioned before that you got the vampire's treasure when you were low level (with stealth). I did the same thing with my mage. Gave the vampire a fire elemental to play with, looted the chest, ran for my life. I don't remember what I got, but it worked.)

Ah, that makes a lot of sense. You're a genius, thanks. :-)

Well... that's happened to me too, but I'm talking about... being out in the wilderness, summoning the horse to get back to town, no monsters around, not moving at all. I try to get on, he dumps me off. As many times as I try, he just dumps me off immediately. Over and over again. I have to get back to a town by walking before the horse will let me back on him without throwing me.

Awesome... yeah, I erased that part because I looked back through the forum, and several other people said they raided that chest and got awesome stuff. Kinda cool the devs put that there, to give you a little boost up if you can figure out how to not die. :-D

So, I've reached level 48 on my iPhone char with a Warrior.

I've done 45 quests. I'm not sure if I missed any.

I got to 47 but couldn't find any 37 levels to grind until I went into the Deep Mines. The last room in the Deep Mines before you enter the Dark Chasm there is a room with three Grawl Elites. Usually 1 or 2 of them is level 37. I then entered the Dark Chasm and reentered the Deep Mines so that Grawl Elites would respawn. I did this until I reached level 48.

Without killing NPCs, does anyone know where there are level 38 or higher enemies? I'm not including the ones killed in quests that now do not respawn.

I thought I read on here someone got to 49. Maybe that was with killing NPCs.

If someone has a higher completed quest count then 45, I'll try to find the ones I missed then.

They're sold by the Mount Deeds merchant outside north Callaheim. Called riding cloaks I think. There were three I believe and purely cosmetic as far as I can tell, whether you are mounted or not. I only bought one of them so I can't comment on how they all look other than it's neat to have one, even if my staff sticks out a little weirdly through it. They dont have fancy animations but you get what you pay for, and this is still cool.

I got the Cloak of Meditation from a quest. It gives me Energy+150 and Health+150. Maybe there are other cloaks with stats as well.
