Actually, you controlled the actor to walk around the mansion. IN each room, you need to point and click and the solve the problem. The main goal is try to find out who is the murder.

There sort of is. The app store description is set per country, or rather, if it's not set, it defaults to the default.

The US store shows English, but the Canadian is showing Korean.

Just finished the lite version of the game, and am highly impressed. The game thus far could best be described as a gothic Phoenix Wright, including some "borrowed" mechanics, such as presenting appropriate items/evidence and avoiding saying the wrong thing, with a limited number of chances indicated by candles that go out when you make a mistake.

There are also a lot of conversations (at least at the beginning; the translation is also pretty good), many different characters with distinct personalities, much meatier exploration and point-and-click adventure game elements than in PW, and there is also a bit of a Castlevania vibe about the aesthetic, which I like. I'm a big fan of murder mysteries in general, so having a solid one to play is a great thing.

I've already seen one of the 40 endings just a few minutes into the game (not a good one, naturally); the endings are presented in a "collection" in the main menu and provide details of what happened (as well as what you did to cause that ending). Chasing all the endings should be fun for completionists.
