With all 40 endings, is it still the same killer each time or does it vary ending to ending?

Nope, you don`t have to reinstall, you just have to start the game over!
Hint: if you wanna do this, use the M at the start screen in order to skip chapter 1

It would be better if you could place the items on the hand in the right order for a certain ending each time.

Replaying it all from scratch a further 5 times would be very time consuming.

EDIT: Actually, anyone know the ending numbers for all items? There might be a quick way to plan it out to save time. (Sorry just seen the post above)

Chapter 2 •••Spoiler:   I'm in the kitchen after having picked up the wooden horse, and after clicking on the cupboard, according to some guides I'm supposed to be able to ask the chef if "Ulic was here?" but that option never appears. As such, Leah never shows up in the Maid's room, and I can't give her the wooden horse.

This is the second time this has happened. First time on my own, and second time after deleting, reinstalling, and following a guide exactly up to that point. I normally try to figure things out myself, but after 3 hours, and following a guide to boot, I'm ready to give up on this game. I really hope this isn't a glitch and that I'm missing something, as I'd love to continue this game.

Btw, I'm running iPhone 4 with the latest firmware if that matters.
