Seriously get Minotron, an excellent Robotron type clone, thats my favourite one but Goat Up (Doodle Bug-ish) is an excellent game with again great retro graphics

Ok, so others have that same problem... just steering in the upper half, although there is clearly a button indicating to work in the bottom too. How is it on the iPad? Since in the video it seems to work properly.

if you refer to my post, for me steering works at any side at the bottom of the screen and thrusting is at top part of the screen. what is funny because the video in the first post shows different controls.

Sorry, I ment trusting. I think it would be essentially better to have trusting and steering at the bottom, like in the video.

Fellow Minter enthusiasts! I call upon you for help! I've posted about this in the Goat Up forum but didn't get any reply:
Since upgrading from a 3Gs to a 4s phone and iOS 5, Goat Up seems to play at around double the rate as before. This makes the game extremely difficult and unfun. Has anyone else had this issue? I'm in the top 10 on Game Center for a pre-upgrade score and now can barely reach the second area. Vexing. Thanks in advance for any info or advice. Oh, and Caverns of Minos is very good. I'm still getting a handle on the controls, though. |

Got to sit down with this game for half an hour or so and a cup of coffee and it's fantastic!
The only thing I'd change is the "clank" when you bump into walls or don't land correctly. In fact it's bad enough I'm about ready to rewrite clang0.wav with a quieter version... |
