Tank Battle: 1944

Our first iPhone/iPad game Tank Battle: 1944 is now available and has already reached #1 iPad Strategy and Simulation game in Germany, #1 iPhone Simulation game in Hungary and #1 iPhone Strategy game in the Netherlands!

This looks promising; does gameplay involve standard turn based strategy mechanics?

On each turn, you can either move or shoot each of your units. Terrain also affects units by blocking line of sight and providing cover for infantry

After watching the video, two things jump out at me. First, the move or fire system versus an action point (AP) system seems like an odd design choice. Second the maps seem very small, will the maps increase in size later perhaps?

Some of the later levels have larger maps

Anyone else TOFTTed this? I can't make up my mind by just the vid since the last few TBS were a little disappointing.

We'll hopefully have a video showing some of the later levels tomorrow - we'll post it on this thread once it's ready
