I was thinking that it might be a good idea to have something to submit test results/ game compatibility with iFBA. I made this crude form to try and get things organized as yoyofr progresses. Check it out and see what you think.

How can I view results? are you going to manage this by yourself?
Frankly what might help is testing out clones but that's a lot of work, as for originals it seems CPS1/2/3 ALL run flawlessly at 60fps except cps3 which is close to 60fps, and only sfiii 2nd doesn't work while Jojo's works for some so it must be a rom issue. Neo Geo I only tried some but they worked fine at 60fps too. Irem games (Undercover cop, In the hunt etc) don't work. I tried Altered Beast, Crude Buster and Espgaluda and they work fine. Some things I have thought about now that I have submitted some entries:
1. Would it be easier to simply use the form to report non-working games? 2. If we only use the form to report non-working games, how do we distinguish emulator issues vs. bad romsets? (if form allowed entry of working games, may be used to flush out the bad romset issues by seeing multiple "successful" entries. updated summary (spreadsheet) Last edited by neocvera; 03-17-2012 at 01:21 AM.. |

I am just concerned that as the popularity (discovery) of this emulator grows, it will be harder to keep up with all the game-related issues in the iFBA release thread. The form was created to ensure that users with game-related feedback could have a place to report that could easily be retrieved/organized and also provide some guarantee that it will be noticed. |
