Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus HD - (by Gameloft) [v1.1.2 new DLC Multiplayer maps]

I ended up picking up the iPad version since I loved the iPod touch version so much. If you have an iPhone 4 tripod touch 4g, the graphics are just as comparable. They are still stunning and look much better than the 2x scaled graphics. Everything is crisp, but I do notice some frame drop when there is lots of graphical action going on, particularly smoke and fire. I actually haven't had a problem with framerate issues with more enemies on screen which is good.

After tweaking the controls, everything feels perfect. The larger screen size definitely allows for more accuracy than the smaller screen when placing shots.

The only problem I've had so far is that some buttons cannot be moved like weapon pickup or knife action. It would have been nice, but they are still within reach.

Obviously I love the game since I picked up the ipod touch version and now the iPad version. It's a really decent game and worth the price and replay through. Multiplayer is fantastic as well.

Can you play the IPod version together with the IPad version?
And what is it about the ranks, almost every time i play multiplayer and i leave the match by clicking main menu the game quits and when i log into again i have lost some XP, really annoying what to do?
And last, will we be able to buy Map Packs? Would be cool huh?

Very little chance. They need to fix exp loss bug first. Just wait for next installment with unreal graphics.

How is this optimized for ipad2 if there's no gyro control?

Gyro is such a huge addition to FPS on the iphone that I can't see why it's been "removed" in this case

I always wondered about "Modern Combat", I always loved "Brothers In Arms" but then again I love military games of any kind. I may just pick this one up to check it out.

What are you talking about???!!!!

I have and iPad 2 and I play MC 2 with gyro.

It's not enabled at the start you have to turn it on in the settings.

I downloaded the hd version of modern combat 2: black pegasus on my iPad 2 and to my suprise it had an option for using the gyroscope. Does everybody else know about this? As I haven't seen anything in the recent update.

Just tried this on the new iPad and the first level had a TON of graphical glitches. I couldn't even get through the first level without missing walls, etc...

Anyone else notice this? I was planning on playing this before jumping into MC3.
