No iTunes reviews... and the screens look very bland... but it's (I guess) a shmup, hopefully it's worth checking out while it's free... but again, like R-Tech Commander, I'm not holding my breath...

WOW!!! Laggy to the point that I deleted the game after 5 seconds of gameplay... sorry for posting... =o/

Didn't look that great from the screens then I saw only 4S / iPad 2 and up requirements....and it still is laggy on your iPad 2??? Wow, think someone needs to go back to work if they want to do iOS games.

It runs smoother on iPad 3 but I wouldn't call it laggy on iPad 2—still very well playable (tried two or three levels). Fun game btw.

You control your starship by tapping on a place. It will fly to there fast in a straight line. Catch those enemies displayed in the monitors and avoid all the others. They seem to have an AI and it seems to be part of the game that they are hard to distinguish sometimes. In level 4 they start to shoot on your ship (again: avoid bullets) and there is the first challenging boss fight and you need the bonus items described in the last text screen of the story part. Now I am @ level 6 on iPad 3.

Challenging, entertaining and pretty unique as far as I can see. Anyway I am missing a pause button/function. Thanks to dev for the freebie and synthie for the heads-up.

Hey guys - Voids is one of my little creations. It will be very slow (unplayable) on anything less than the stated requirements. On the 4S and iPad2 it runs correctly.

The reason for the heavy requirements are some post-processing effects that some of the devices just can't really handle (e.g. iPhone 4). It came down to whether or not I wanted a wider audience or a nicer game, and I went with nicer game.

Oh! And it's only set up to run free for 24 hours, so grab a copy while that lasts!

It's definitely not everyone's cup of tea, but you might be like me and find it a pretty enjoyable little game
