Have you worked with good app marketing specialists or agencies?

Hi guys

I guess, most of us have been there. You have launched your app, the reviews are good, but downloads are not as good as you have hoped for. You are confident that your app is a good value for users, but there are just too many apps out there and the app store is flooded.

My question is, have you had any positive experience with good app marketing freelancers or agencies that really know how to do their job? I am looking for someone, who could help me with app marketing and app promotion activities.

Your advice, experiences and comments are are greatly appreciated!!
Mike

I review apps so I can't specify what agency is good for a developers basis. I can howether say which ones tend to be the most successful. In that case I would try and submit samples of my work to either "Chillingo" or "Bulkypix" and maybe even "CM Games"

Chillingo would be you best chance as they take on many projects releasing 2-3 apps per week. They also guarentee a huge amount of downloads. Even their most unsuccesful apps get to the top 25 on the paid charts for their first week. Also they were responsible for the succes of Angry Birds and Cut the Rope.

Bulkypix don't publish a huge amount of games. Recently they have dropped about 2 games a month. But in the next few months we are bound to see many games from them. If you can get with the succes is secured.

CM Games are probably the easiest and most sociable publishers on the App Store and like the others their games always become hits. Try them out as they are on these forums most of the time too.

Hope these help.

Your response was not only fast, but full of valuable information. Big thanks for that, triggywiggy!! If you'd like to try my app, I'd be happy to send you a promo code as my modest 'thanks'. Feel free to let me know. Take care!

Never heard of them.
Can you send a link to one of their apps?
