Hi there!

Just want to share with toucharcade users that we've released Clippox Hd for iPad Retina. It's really awesome what does screen could show and the power of the new iPad has allowed us to use really big textures. If you already have it and own the new iPad download it, it's awesome.

Here's a capture from the game so anyone can get the idea:

(I can't post the image directly on the post, It's too big and would destroy the thread)

I suppose a sale would put this one back on the map as it doesn't appear to have much publicity...

With the price at a dollar, I decided to give this a try. I have played for about an hour so far and I am enjoying it. The graphics are very sharp and beautiful on my new iPad and the lovely illustrated quality is pretty unique among the iPad games I have. The music is pleasant.

The controls work fine although I think the jumping is awkward at times. Sometime when I jump onto a small platform, the character will slide off of it. Also at times the jumping distance is hard to estimate. It is a very minor complaint for me.

Difficulty is about right for me. The ball creatures can be a pain at times when you get trapped in a constricted area; at that point I use the magic to kill them (if I have enough mana) rather then striking them. Other enemies have been easy up to the point I have progressed. There are some minor puzzle elements in the game and they have been easy.

I like this and I will continue to play it. It is too early for me to rate it, but I am pleased with my purchase.

Thank for your opinion. For your information, the ball enemies are called Maplis.

We've worked on the jump since the first days of the game, and we know it still have problems but it feels much better now. Now it's possible to control (a bit) the jump after leaving the ground, that helps a lot to avoid platform borders and other problems.

Just to let you know, both versions (iPhone and iPad) are now on sale at 0.99$/0.79€ and we've just launched the art book available for iPad or in pdf.

iPad Art Book: http://itunes.apple.com/us/book/the-art-of-clippox-exodus/id537745040?ls=1

The book of course is free and is also nice on retina screen.
