What's happening to Squeenix on iOS?

In particular, what the heck is happening to their sales? They used to have a sale every time they brought a new game out, and their old classics reliably climbed the charts during those. Then they... stopped.
Nothing but prior CRs was discounted when CR2 came out and now, nothing for Easter? I was going to finally grab the first 2 FFs, but no... And to add insult to injury they have/had(?) that FF anniversary sale going on PSN...
