I haven't even unlocked year 3. I liked this game until it started to feel like I had to grind to get that year unlocked. It should have just unlocked when I finished year 2, not required me to get all the fruits, beat times, etc. Let me do that for fun, but not lock out a year unless you do all that.

Agreed, if you buy the game you own it.

Damnit. Hate when developers just disappear...

Guess I'll stay away from their future releases... Empty promises just erk the hell outta me.

We've not disappeared, it's not dead - but be don't have solid plans for updates at the moment. It was probably a mistake to put the 'Year 4' screen/message in there, before we had firm plans for an update (just a wishlist of things that we'd like to add)

It's likely that we'll release a small update adding support for EFIGS languages (English, French, Italian, German, Spanish) in the near future, as it's currently English-only, and maybe a Lite version. There might be an opportunity to add some content along with that, but I can't guarantee it yet.

Currently I'm busy with a completely unrelated project - but beyond that, there's a fairly good chance that we'll make another platformer - if not a Little Acorns 2, something else using the same engine and quite possibly a similar grappling mechanic

Thanks for responding...

But you might want to take 'year 4' out of the game. It makes it seem incomplete. And with an incomplete game in the AppStore, people will be very hesitat to purchase more games from you, because they'll think there will be very little chance that you'll complete it.

Anywho, if you plan on making a Little Acorns 2, I'll be all over it.

+1

Just finished Little Acorns, having bought it when it first came out. Loved every second of it.

Had almost forgotten about this one, (I had gotten about half-way through it, but then stopped playing for some reason, found it hidden in one of my many "Platformers" folders ), but recently came back to it and 100%'d it. Great, great game. Definitely one of my favorite iOS platformers! Hoping for a sequel or something soon!

Currently Enjoying: BUG HEROES 2

Yep think this an underrated game, an iOS classic. Very polished, controls work well. A lot of fun
