Update: check out the most recent video:
Youtube link | Pop Up This game is a work in progress and may not be representative of the release version. Instructions: * Horizontal, vertical, and diagonal lines connect circles of the same color. * A move is made by selecting a column. Any color match with at least one of its two circles in that column will have them shrunk. * Roughly, circles in between will change to that color and gaps in between will create circles of that color. * When a stack of circles lands, it will be automatically selected with behavior as above. Any feedback would be appreciated! (Game mechanic modified from that shown when this thread first appeared.) — Any feedback would be appreciated. The game is a work in progress and may not be representative of the release version. It has not been named yet. Youtube link | Pop Up Last edited by amichail; 06-14-2012 at 10:36 AM.. |

This upcoming game is fundamentally a color matching game. Neither DropZap nor DropZap 2 have color matching.

Ok... I had just seen DropZap 2 earlier today on the price drop, but have not played either of them.
At a glance I could not tell the difference. But this looks like it could potentially be a head scratcher in a good way! |

Which engine did you use for this game? I liked the idea. Look forward to it.

I'm using UIKit although cocos2d for iPhone is used for the falling debris and sound effects.
