No. The game balance is identical to Flash version and the Flash version doesn't have IAPs. The game can be completed without IAPs - we spent a lot of time testing it %)

You don't need to purchase any IAPs, though I'm tempted to get the invisibility one just to make my life easier. Hate those ghosts!

Frankly one of the best TD games out there for iPad

Brilliant, brilliant game. Love the cap on skills @ level 30 so that you have to tweak to change the bonuses for the harder levels.

A few things would make the game even more awesome:

- in the Skills screen, when you tap a skill to get a pop-up window, you need to tap the X to close the pop-up. A tap-anywhere would be better.

- in the Skills screen, if you want to tweak a couple of skills you can't - you have to reset and start again. It should be changed so you can remove points to redistribute elsewhere (whilst keeping the checks for minimum points needed to activate higher skills)

- in-game, perhaps change the colour of the "UP" on the turret so that it is somehow highlighted when you actually have the cash to perform the update. I'm a bit sick of tapping a tower to update only to realise later that I can't afford it

- in-game I would like the fact you have meteor or frenzy ability "enabled" to be more visible in the play area - I have wasted lots of these skills by not-quite-tapping on the turret I want to upgrade, only to see an unwanted meteor splash into empty space.

I still can't beat level 30, but I will D

@ISayPorter: Closing skill pop-up idea sounds good.

Regarding the skills redistribution - some skills depend on the number of skill points used for a "race". If we allow to redistribute skills at any time it can cause some problems with locking/unlocking skills.

Right now UP has different color if you don't have enough money to upgrade, isn't it?

Meteor and Frenzy usage needs some work for sure - we'll get back to it sooner or later.

I always have time for devs looking for feedback, and the truth is I'm the kind of demographic you want (spending a fortune on apps lol). Maybe it's due to the amount of TD games I've played, but for me it's just too mediocre (albeit in the top end).

I dont want to deter potential customers so I'll keep it strictly to mechanics.

The unlocks don't really incentivise me to persevere, the 'plant tower x on a particular tile' mechanic has been done better and the number of unit types is lacking (with no explanation of what the later towers do).

If it was your typical 69p app then I would probably buy it to support the devs, but at 1.99 it's too lacking to justify it (I recently paid 20+ for a game that I thought did deserve it).

I've also had this happen to me on several occasions where I'd end up wasting a spell because I didnt know it was 'highlighted'. Changing the way this works would be great
