yes you have to finish all the missions on the first island before you unlock the other island. there are three islands. when you unlock all the missions on island two you unlock number three. you get it and no there is not any cheats for gta on iPod etc yet.

Actually, all the cheats and mods for the pc one work on this one.
the mods are done the same way and the cheats need a blietooth keyboard to activate.

he means you need a bluetooth keyboard to connect to the iPad/iPhone/iPod to enter cheats so you can get cheats, all the same ones as the ones on ps2 etc for gta 3. cheers by the way didn't no that!

Exactly right.
Haven't tried all the cheats myself but the ones I found on google so far work on it.
The car mods were the best thing so far though.
But I did have to change a few back because the environments suffered a lot when I changed a lot of cars.
There is another thread for the modding of the game.
Don't have a link but you'll find it if you search the site for gta 3 mobile modding.

here's my tip. go play it on a pc or an xbox!

the controls for iOS still suck, especially for driving. hopefully rockstar is working on this.

if you're trying to get 100% you have to get those paramedic missions out of the way early before all the gangs start shooting at you when you drive through certain territories. it becomes much harder (understatement) to complete the paramedic missions later on.

I'm doing the first K mission, and it's probably to go kill someone but no dot has appeared on the map

sorry I'm not really sure, maybe just die and then do e mission from the start and read what it says carefully? never happened to me and I'm doing missions in world three.
