Enjoying the game so far, and Void has helped me figure out a couple of things that were confusing me, but has anyone figured out the whole time aspect thing of the boss battles? At first I was getting 5m - 1m and now it's 19m - 1m....what exactly am I supposed to do to get that bonus?

K, I just restarted a game... and for the time...

With the enemy battles (guardian fights? - not the boss battles) - the time is how long it took you from the start of the world (where you explore the area) to the end of the guardian battle. Example - the first guardian fight says 5M... so you need to explore, find the story points, find the trinkets, then in the battle, find all the trinkets, and collect all the energy orbs, take no damage, and complete it all in under 5 minutes to get a perfect score (except for the difficulty bonus, which I have no idea how to get, because I don't know how to play higher than normal difficulty... even after completing the game)

**edit**

k... for the second fight in the first world... the enemy battle with the witch? you need to make it from the end of the guardian battle to the end of the enemy battle in under 5 minutes. (just did it in 3, my score ended up showing up as 3M < 5M and I got the time bonus)

I'm guessing it's the same for the boss battle... unless it's like you said and only says 1M, then I guess it's just how long it takes you to complete the boss battle, not including any exploration.

**2nd edit**

k... at the end of the boss battle, it says <15M so you need to complete the ENTIRE world (exploration, guardian battle, enemy battle) in under 15 minutes for that time bonus.

=o)

Good God, thanks Void! Just a question though...all these factors don't really matter unless you're aiming for achievements and a place on the leaderboard, right? I mean, I could play through the game normally and actually complete the game completely, right? There's no... ummm... like... anything similar to a 3-starring system or whatnot, yeah?

ha... yes, you can complete the game without worrying about your score, or getting perfect times or whatever... and reach the ending with no problem at all. =o)

Alright, awesome. Guess I'll just enjoy the game for now and then get my competitive side on later.

Yeah ...
Difficulty is unlocked by choices made throughout the game.
Refer to the Achievement 'Hard Mode' or spoiler below.
Hard Mode - Spare 2 bosses and unlock Hard mode

And it looks like unlocking it kicks you into it (?), as I just completed the game on Hard...which may explain some of my earlier comments to difficulty.

But yeah ... last boss on Hard sucked ass.
Fight lasted forevvvver until I figured out what the hell to do.

End was anticlimactic...but I'm ready to play through again!

get some decent animators !

I could have been interested by the game, but the quality of the animation stopped me. Those birds really deserve better. I can't believe that so many people praise the art of a game that has such bad animations.
To me it's a showstopper. If this gets fixed, I'm in, but I don't really have high hopes about it ^^.

I 'm not here to gain your respect, just to express my thoughts as both potential player and 3D artist. To me that game doesn't deserve "artistic" praise until it's content is correctly animated.

I'd usually let it be and just not buy the game, but I thought that for once I would speak up, which is the reason I took time to register and post a comment. If you take it badly, that's you concern.

I don't say that Crow is the only game concerned by badly animated characters. I just see no reason to consider Crow as "the Greatest iPhone Game I've Played (- Kotaku)" when the animation itself is so jerky.
