Bit off topic, but I Must Run! will be also released tomorrow in North America (it's already out in Europe since last week) for Nintendo DSiWare and 3DS and this review on Nintendolife just went live:

Again, off topic, in case anyone is a gamer on other platforms than just iOS

What if we can't find the receipt, lost months and months ago in a sea of App Store receipts?

Will this comment, dated 12-14-10 (the release date of the old version) from the old versions thread suffice?

Even though it sucks you removed old version it's really great what you're doing to the old customers who bought the game Will probably have to check this game out just cause the devs seem to be so great!

Game Impressions

Props to Gamelion for bringing an old game to its full potential, the game is perfect now and addresses everything that the previous version missed out on; especially the checkpoint system.

The new controls are spot on; the swipe to slide mechanic works great. I had to swap the sides so that left side controls the jumps though.

The points system to unlock endless levels/buying lives works well, the IAPs aren't intrusive as its easy to earn coins if you are good.

But, I missed the cheesy comic intro! Was surprised when the game just started without it, and there doesn't seem to be a 24 hour limit either. No more story in the story-mode. It's not a big deal as this has turned into a great endless runner now with the update. Universal/retina would have been nice, but the game and controls scale well on the iPad.

If you enjoy running games, this is a must-have.

Also had the original and have to look for my receipt, but I gotta ask, why couldn't have this been done in an update?

I'm sure there are a lot of people that don't read this forum that won't be able to redownload the old version and don't know about your offer to give them a promo code for the new one.

That said the new changes sound good.
