App description: To celebrate the release of Talesworth Adventure Ep. 2, we've dropped the price of ep. 1! Enjoy!

A unique puzzle game that challenges you to help Questy slay the Dragon of Talesworth and snatch his hoard of loot. He's an evil dragon, so don't feel bad. Navigate through 30 increasingly difficult levels (and 3 bonus levels). Enjoy the retro, 8-bit art in this critically acclaimed puzzler!

Note: This game requires an iPad or a device with a retina display! This means iPhone 4 or the new iPod touch with retina display. We're working hard to figure out how to prevent the app from installing and running on unsupported devices.

*** Game of the Week on Newgrounds.com, featured on the homepage ***

*** "...rather than turn Talesworth Adventure into a ridiculously overcomplicated piece of work, Gailey has made the gameplay elements surprisingly straightforward." - DIYGamer.com ***

*** "All the levels are well designed and conquering them will have you patting yourself on the back..." -CasualGameplay.com ***

*** "Wow, this is one of the best puzzle games I've ever played. I just love the... puzzle system this game makes use of. Please do more." -DrZaius, Kongregate Member ***

SOUND

After playing through the first few levels of the flash game, I have to say I'm very impressed. I don't think I'd really go and buy the ipad version unless it was updated with new content, however I found it very enjoyable and very challenging. Whether you're a fan of puzzlers or dungeon crawlers, this combines the best of both worlds.

You could just try the free flash version. Perhaps then you'd see why it's a fit for the ipad.
