I really like the progression system, since it allows for different builds each time you play. The extra upgrades given as rewards from the achievements kept me grinding away at them for awhile. (The only one I'm missing is the 100 bombs in a single game. Still can't figure out the best way to do that.)
for that one just play Waves, start at Wave 1, hit lotsa bombs, don't die

I think the only one I have left to get is the one for scoring 500 000 000

I finally managed to get that achievement. I did try starting from wave 1, but it takes forever. I think I went from 1-30 and still only got 90. This time, I went with wave 41 and managed to get 162 bombs. Part of that could also be I've gotten a little better at the game. It seems like the benefit of starting at lower waves is that it's easier to survive, but the benefit of higher waves is that you have more enhancements and your score is higher (= more lives).

I finally started playing this yesterday, and yeah it's good. Great game and I don't normally like dual-stick shooters that much. This one works for me for some reason.

Just got this, its very good but I would like the option to disable autofire. If I somehow missed the option please someone hit me with that knowledge!

This game is indeed very slick and polished but I rather shot only when I choose to. Other than that this is great, radiangames you got a sure fan here!

I think he said he was going to add that option in an upcoming update.

Are these games Retina on the new iPad? Will Super Crossfire HD be updated? Love these games on XBLIG.

Yes, they are all 2048x1536 on the new iPad (Ballistic and Fireball). As for Super Crossfire HD, it's coming. Update should be out when Inferno+ comes out, and Retina support isn't the only big thing coming with that update.

If you're wanting to check out the XBLIG versions, you're best off waiting for the 2-year anniversary of JoyJoy's launch (aka May 15th).

Inferno+ should be on iOS at the end of May or sometime in June. It'll be $2.99 like Super Crossfire HD (and well worth it).
