MvC got my vote... Even with the funky controls, no online MP, no iCloud and no iCade support... I keep going back to it more than any other title I picked up this week (and I picked up more than a few... Damn sales...).

Spellsword's controls+physica get to me... They work upto a certain point, but then they are nowhere near adequate for the task at hand... Don't get me wrong, it's a nice game, and probably the best SCB type game (arena platformer?) I've ever seen... But those controls+physics... ARRRRRRG!

Bubble Pig, Ski Safari and Ballistic are all great as well... But I just haven't been drawn to them as much as I thought I would be, or even close to as much as others here on the forum are...

Anyway. Point being; plenty of great games, and I won't be surprised no matter which one wins (I guess, unless it's Aby Escape... The controls, frame rate issues, and slow movement all make it almost unplayable on my 4th gen touch... But the Devs are supportive, and are hopefully working on fixes... So... Whatever...)

Woot... Get ur vote on!im excited to see who'll win!

How "funky" are the controls? (granted even with console controls or at the arcade I cant pull off moves or combo when i want to... :P lol..) The reviews seems to be pretty mixed so I'm really hesitant to pick it up. How it it on your iPod vs on the iPad. On the iPod, it seems like so much of the screen is blocked. Is there screen shrink option like in Cave games to have a dead zone?

Edit

Ignore

I didn't read, though you meant Spellsword...

As for MvC...

The flick controls work pretty well... But it takes some getting use to. There is no shrink screen option, but the placement and (if I'm remembering correctly? I know FOR SURE the placement) size is adjustable. I'm enjoying playing it on both devices, but prefer the iPad because of the space to see what's going on. But with the iPod, it's not so bad that you can't enjoy it. Just wish iCloud support was there... Gonna suck unlocking everyone twice...

**edit again**

Yeah, totally forgot there are 3 different screen sizes for MvC. Sorry...

Spellsword for the win! Tough choice this week, though; at least two others would've won many weeks for me.
