Game Impressions

I'm tired, cynical, and jaded. There's no more crowded genre on the app store than physics puzzlers with sling firing mechanics. But this, is just an awesome, awesome game.

Technically accomplished which is immediately apparent, from visuals, to interface, to controls; stunningly minimalistic, logical, intuitive, and accommodating. Truly an instance where there is nothing left to add nor take away. But it is as you play and experience the twists and turns of the game's logic, level design, and challenges, that the overall attention to detail at work becomes clearly apparent.

Don't judge this one on the screenshots.

I noticed this yesterday and it looked good, but with no reviews yet I didn't want to buy it only to delete a few minutes later. I love physics puzzlers but I am pretty burned out on them, based on Gabriens feedback though I am going to take the plunge.

Thanks so much for the kind words, I'm really glad you're enjoying it! =)

I'll admit I've never looked at what it takes to add gamecentre support - I'll go do some digging.

And re: fluffernutter's post, is there any chance I could get you to post some reviews like this on the app store? I could really use a few reviews =)

Thanks again ... now, I'm off to read-up on gamecentre ...

Nice sequel to Melon Golf. Some of the stars are incredibly frustrating (in a good way)

You're half right

I had a fantastically talented partner in crime for Melon Golf. Hopefully 2upGames will live again for another title in the future!

Wow - I'm impressed! You're certainly the first person I've heard of to finish it, so congratulations!

And it's a sequel of sorts - I was lucky enough to have a very talented partner in crime for Melon Golf, and I'm still very much hoping to do a real sequel for that one day digging a little more into the multi-shot golf side of it.

Again though - great job!

There is a Lite version available now, so I tried this game. It provides a nice taster. Gabrien's comments a few posts up summarize my feelings precisely. This is really outstanding. I guess I am not done with physics puzzlers.
