App description: Vermes on Mars is a top-down sci-fi shooter, which is available for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.

Vermes on Mars is a action-laden 2d game with
* a multitude of very beautiful, procedurally generated levels,
* an exciting and inspiring gameplay experience,
* a unique and stunning visual look and feel,
* a great soundscape and electronic-orchestral score, and
* an excellent input scheme with a very nice touch!

In each level four unmanned intelligent vehicles are placed at the players disposal. The player is supposed to find and neutralize each worm that hides in the soil, while collecting the priced materials, which can be found on the terrain. The difficulty varies during the game and always delivers a challenging and entertaining experience. There are different species of worms on Mars, ranging from snappish sandworms to stampeding rockworms and scorching fireworms. Each of the players bots can be upgraded and can be replaced with more efficient vehicles while the game progresses.

True, true. The responsiveness can and should be optimized. With the controls upgrade this could be improved, I guess.

Things are going to be great!

Awesome!!! Thank you so much!!

I'm always interested in game soundtracks, as I've made a couple myself. Music is almost always a big part of games for me, and this one is pretty damn nice. Adds quite a bit to the atmosphere of the game! =oD

Thank you for sharing.

Doubts

I am having second thoughts about "getting more money for upgrading when havin lost too many bots"

You see, there has been a survival-mode in the making already when we have release VOM. It is supposed to be released with VOM 1.1.0, which we are working on right now.

I think it would be worthwhile to somehow use this survival-mode as a mechanism that allows you to raise some funds for upgrading beyond the real gameplay. So if you get stuck an being low on funds you could always play the survival-mode to get some money.

It think this is a fairly simple idea with a minimum of complexity, that could be favorable over the idea of different skill-levels (replayable vs. non replayable levels).

What do you think?
