How to release a new app,iPhone and iPad versions, in one day?

Hi respectable TouchArcade developer community,

We'd like to raise an issue which - we believe - many developers might be interested in.

We'd love to release a new application, both iPhone and iPad versions, on the same day. Seems to be easy. Just set the desirable date of release for both apps. But considering the pitfall with New Releases section at iTunes - which we believe most of you are aware of - we are wondering if is possible to syncronize the release of iPhone and iPad versions, on the one hand, and not to miss being featured in the New Releases section on the day of release, on the other hand.

Has anyone managed to do such a trick? Thanks in advance for sharing experience!
