Thanks for the iCade-enabled video - looks very smooth, and has me looking forward to release even more! It's great to know it will be out soon, and be Universal to boot, too.

I've recently been sidetracked by working on a game called Blast Ball that uses a lot of the Kid Vector assets. Blast Ball is basically a combination of Super Crate Box and soccer. I'm really excited about it and it's loads of fun. You can check out the web version here:

I'll be finishing up and submitting the iOS version of Blast Ball at the end of this week. Unfortunately this has put me a bit behind on Kid Vector.

Not much to report right now. I'm finishing up an update to Blast Ball that adds a new level pack, as well as another really small project.

I've scrapped the idea of having bosses in Kid Vector, as it's been too frustrating making fun bosses without a weapon action. Instead I'm focusing on making more fleshed out and unique platforming levels.

Looks great but that constant animation in the middle of the screen is very off putting. Would prefer no animation at all or an option to switch it off?

Aww... I've got a whole section of the game devoted to crazy psychedelic effects

But yeah, I could see where that could bother a lot of people, I'll put in an option to turn off the more distracting effects such as that animation.
