My pick of the week without doubt is this awesome, inspired, unique and entertaining game: Winters of the Melodias

Correct me if I'm wrong but even top of line graphics cards today don't have enough power to compute realtime radiosity. No game uses it. I think you're mistaking radiosity with global illumination, which is possible today, though I still think that LostWinds 2 uses baked lighting with some dynamic lights and shadows and that's it.

Beautiful game anyway.

100% of Melodia Idols

Does anyone know what it does when you get 100% of the Melodia Idols. I got them all in both Lost Winds and Lost Winds 2, but as far as I can tell nothing has happened. Do I need to beat the end boss again? Or do you collect them just to collect them?

Just saw it... not sure how I missed it...
Now I understand why LostWinds had free promo codes at starbucks all over London!

I love this game ever since I first had it on the Wii. For sure I'm going to get this one. I just love the art and music to much to miss it .

I lost the king... left him somewhere (even flicked down to make him stay there), accidentally went to another level and when I came back for him he wasn't there, nor at his temple or where I found him, any help?

EDIT: Contacted the dev, game me the solution tip, facing the last boss

Glad I'm not the only one to notice this
You're not wrong, LW2 uses dynamic lighting not "realtime radiosity".
Ofcourse they could argue that radiosity IS lighting, but the concepts are entirely different as far as graphics programming lingo goes.

Still a great game
