Alfine never came to me to say that the food didn't work. I didn't see any of the cutscenes regarding the guy buying up all the spices. Taking Lidia to the dessert doesn't do anything for me. Guess I'll just have to count it as a loss.
Equipment 60 Spoiler is the Silver Tray. I can't really remember how I got it, but don't think it's from a monster, but from a chest instead? I think I got around the same place as the bunny suit & cap. Venom spider is in Spoiler attic of Your bar actually. Just go all the way upstairs and it will trigger a scene. Hope this helps!
The silver tray can be find on Fire Island. Walk untill you see a small rock in the water, and near to that will be a path were you can actually walk on the water. It will lead you to a small island with a chest. It's a lot easier if you eat Misto Soup to see it, but you can walk it blindly.
Hmmm....my bar is Rank 10 already, but it seems like I haven't even gotten close to beating the game, I've got up to unlocking the desert village and giving the Rose cake to Alfine, and then nothing's happened since :/ what should I do?

Cant believe I didn't buy this earlier. Bought it last night and already played 4hours. It's a slow grind from what I can tell so far but that's what I'm liking. Love just going out collection stuff and killing monsters. Well worth it especially while on sale.
anybody knows what is the meaning of that "ready" here as in my secret catalog there were only 2 monsters left that i havent fight...

Just a quick question but is 1.2 better than 1.1? I have 1.1 and haven't started playing yet but I'm wondering if the "price adjustment" is a good thing or a bad thing... anyone know?
there is no major different about the update, its only added few features such as buying food that you cant make and yeah only that i've notice though
