Offensive Combat - Competitive Online FPS from Ex-Call of Duty Veterans

An online first-person shooter called Offensive Combat��has been announced by U4iA Studios, and will release for smartphones after thorough beta testing of the web browser version. ��The company consists of��Dusty Welch and Chris Archer – two��Activision��veterans��who worked on the console blockbuster Call of Duty.

Offensive Combat™ will feature the most competitive multiplayer action ever seen within a browser, enabling players to harness their skills and use their creativity and ingenuity to win the ultimate mash-up of first-person shooters. The browser version and the mobile/tablet versions of the game are interconnected, and work together unlike any game before. The full��Offensive Combat��experience will be detailed in the coming weeks.

The closed beta will start this summer, according to That Video Game Blog, with the smartphone version releasing soon after.

I think the beta will follow after the web browser test. The game has not been announced recently so I'm guessing web browser testing will come in June and the smart phone release around Autumn.

Please tell us when you start beta testing though, love to test the game!

Okay I'm done. You should've seen me when I first saw the title God I'm so excited! Big Modern Combat series fan and I can't believe we're gonna get a CoD, well almost CoD, game on iOS! Been waiting for this to happen since I first played MC2!

Yeah, good point! PC players are generally better than console players on CoD, so I'm curious as to how this cross platform stuff between iOS and PC wil play out.

Wait they're both in one server? I know how this could work... There's that one game service that has like FPS players on PC and like smartphone players are controlling air strikes or something idk like they're co-operating. I don't remember the service name and I don't think it's out yet, but I think TA covered the news. So this could work like that. Or two different servers-
