I'm having the same issue with all of Robert's emulators.

[edit] Well, I just discovered that this varies. My iPad 3 has audio, my wife's iPad 3 does not. The only difference I can think of is that I set my iPad up as a new device when I bought it and she restored from back-up. I'm guessing there must be a conflicting setting or something that has been carried over from a past jailbreak on her iPad 2. Does this match your situation, boutwell?

[edit2] I tried uninstalling and then looking for and deleting left over settings and cache files using iFile, but no luck so far. Either I'm still missing something or there's a bug with the emulators that is only affecting certain models (e.g. mine is a Verizon 4G, my wife's is a WiFi).

I had the same problem for my ipad 2, I rebooted (after closing all apps), played a netflix movie (that got sound) and then tried snes9x again and it worked.
I also updated cydia but I think I did that after it worked.

Don't use the Scan for Wiimotes command when using an iCade device. Your controller should already be scanned/connected by the iOS settings app. All you need to do is turn on iCade support in the Input options of the emulator.

That's right, only iCade mode will work on "legit" devices. I can leave the BTstack code in, but you'd still need to jailbreak to actually run the BTstack service component that handles the connections.

Oh and you used to have a forum dedicated to the iOS version of snes9x, do you have a link?
Not at the moment, I'll probably look into something like this once netplay support is ready since the code to do it is similar.

I don't have a dedicated forum for the iOS version (maybe I'll set one up on Google Groups soon)

I don't know of any no-sound issues, other than having your mute switch accidentally turned on. Double check that because you may not realize it's on since some apps ignore it.

LOL... that was the issue. Not sure why my wife's iPad had the mute enabled, but it did and apparently Netflix ignores the mute so I had no idea.

Sweet! What kind of time frame are we looking at? Months? Years? I won't hold you to it of course

You really need your own forum, I've seen you on so many forums answering everyone's questions, that's crazy!

can you add 50% setting on the screen for iPhone when playing in landscape mode, because when playing a side scrolling games like Joe and Mac, my right thumb is covering the screen so i can't see enemies that are coming to me.

thankss!

Finally got around to getting a tab. ASUS tab bc I don't want to deal with the jailbreak waiting and waiting.

Anyway I remember reading a post months ago about something you had to do incase the ICP didn't respond to SNES 9x EX. And I'm having that problem when scanning for it. I've skimmed this thread, is there some sort of app I need to download to synch it or whatever?

And now that iOS 5.1.1 is jailbreakable, are you hoping that your 2nd-gen iPod running iOS 3.x is compatible?
