Hey guys,
Hope you like the game, but it looks like I totally screwed up the icon for this. Considering pulling it from the App Store until the update is approved. What happened (I think): Unity 3.5 replaced the 512x512 icon slot with a 144x144 one for the new iPad. With Fireball and Ballistic, the temporary icon I uploaded was replaced with the real one when I uploaded a build (using Unity 3.4). That never happened with Inferno+, and I couldn't remember if the new icons for Fireball/Ballistic updated after I uploaded the build, or when it went live. So the iTunes icon is a black background with a swirling flame on it, while the icon you see on your device is the real icon (circular ship with glowing U on it). I'm a little shocked it passed Apple's review, because the icons don't match at all (thought that was a fail condition). With that crappy icon, it seems less likely Apple will feature the game tomorrow, and those who see the game in iTunes for the next week will be less likely to buy it ![]() Luke EDIT: Requested an expedited review for a version with the correct icon. A swirling flame for a game called "Inferno" doesn't seem that too far fetched, IMO.
Damnit, wish I had an NZ account to buy it before it potentially gets pulled. :/ |
