Please don't keep asking him about cheats, he has said many times he will look into it eventually. Pestering him will only piss him off, which is something I don't want to see happen as he does a great job (for free no less).

Nice to see you back! Yeah there's been some revisions on the pc-side and I'm sure another is on the way soon with a few neo-geo protos added to the support list plus others. The interesting thing is implementation of the xbr filters, curious how/ if you might be able to bring those along for the ride.

There's also been that little jailbreak release bringing in the new iPad to the mix. Higher GPU performance and pixel density might make it a good candidate for those new filters.

I'd be most interested in work on the irem drivers/ cores.

for some reason when I run iFBA .5 on my ipad 3 (5.1.1) I can not change bios, i.e. switching to universe bios 2.3 and I still get the default bios boot screen. Plus I cannot enter "setting mode" with the dip switches option OR the "service" button in the emu, can anyone plz tell me why? I cannot play metal slug with white "blood".

Works fine for me on the same hardware. Start game, select Menu, select Dip Switches, choose Universe BIOS, reset game, and push A+B+C (labeled I, II, III in iFBA) when the Universe BIOS splash screen is showing to set up the region.

I don't get any splash screen just black screen when using universe bios 2.3 and 2.3 alt.

I'm honestly not sure, I'm using the exact same setup and mine works fine. Are you sure your BIOS file is correct? Have you checked it against a DAT file?
