What is New for version 1.2:

Added Novice mode for campaign missions
Ads are removed(Yay!)
Allow players to zoom in more during missions
Ensure both players are using the same version for gamecenter game.
Reduce memory usage for iPad 1 and 2(the game is less likely to terminate now when you go to another app)
Fix various crashes
Updated the story for latter missions
AI behave smarter against deployed archers, and ambushing pikemen


What we are working on for 1.3 patch:

New Skirmish Map where both players start with a huge army
Reduce difficulty for new players in skirmish mode
Fix achievement(we are going to get this right this time)
Start Multiplayer Rankings
Added a stand still mode for units
Backup the current mission progress when multitasking
Fix Bluetooth multiplayer
Add Game Manual

I am really happy they added the better zoom options. This game has such a great grafic and it would be a shame not being able to zoom in quite a bit to see those epic battles!

However. I suck at this game right now. Have to get better. I'm trying skirmish and I already have problems with the second map. I am too slow or just not appling any pressure...

How many missions are in the single player campaign?

I'm currently in the Ansham fortress mission, I think a save game feature is a must! I almost quit in disgust in the previous mission - where you have to reach a fort where the enemy advances from 2 areas, and previously you run into single units and must dispatch of them without having them call for reinforcements. Having to replay the first bit over and over was very frustrating!! In the end I managed to beat that mission by destroying the east most fort with my original units and only after establishing a fort and defences there, I would reach the main fort and then have to deal with the enemy advancing only from the southern gate.

Ah, that one.....

Seems like a lot of people are having issues with both that and the earlier map that requires you to sneak pass patrols.

There are some strategies for missions posted in the official forum, so you might to check there if you're ever stuck again. The newly added novice mode should help too.

There are 10 missions in all, and Anshan should be number 8.

I couldn't buy the game without a Save option, I'm afraid.
