So, this game is an MMO? The single-player portions cannot be played without an always-on internet connection?
I like simulation & strategy games that I can play by myself, such as Civilization, Settlers, Great Little War Game, Total War Battles, Autumn Dynasty, etc. But if this one requires an always-on connection for single-player, then I don't ever intend to download it.
Re: IAP - the devs might not 'care' that some of their client-base think it's dishonest/disrespectful (though I doubt the devs themselves dare to actually say it), the people who disagree with this practice should not stop voicing their opinions on it. Why? Some corporations may not care about the environment, does that mean the people who do care should stop pressuring them? Of course not. Silence only serves to perpetuate the status quo.
