It's a nice push forward in the genre, I like that you've incorporated tap patterns into it, however I have crashed out numerous times from the taps. It blurs too many lines with Pandemic for my tastes but it's a great genre to branch out into on this platform I'll look forward to your next title.

I finally discovered that I was actually losing all the time instead of winning. That really needs to be fixed. Another problem is messages popping up all the time and blocking bubble access. I turn off the message and the bubble disappears at the same time. Not enough dna points available. Turning things off to regain two is not enough. Also, the banner is too large, and could be placed better, like at the bottom. The major problem is that the game is far too difficult at the third level. I made it to fungus, and after repeated losses with no clues or hints on how to win, i gave up and deleted the game even though there were at least another ten levels left. That is a shame. I was enjoying it and i dont get to see the majority of the game. I am sure this is a common problem. Not all of us have endless hours to spend on attempts to redo frustrating levels. Redoing levels is not my idea of fun. And especailly not on the third level of a game! This difficulty ramp up happens way too early. You should at least include a hint system that can be accessed for each level.
As it is, i barely got my money's worth out of this game. Sure it was only a buck, but playing two levels before hitting a wall is more suited to a lite version than full version. I played on normal every time. Last edited by Spatzi; 06-18-2012 at 09:09 AM.. |

I'd love to see stats on each of the levels and players' pass/fail rate on each. Fungus is currently kicking my pasty white arse. I don't really understand how DNA is accrued toward the end of the game. It seems like it starts ticking up really quickly, then suddenly slams to a stop even though people are still dying off at a pretty good rate. I like that the game is difficult, but it's starting to feel like it's impossible so it's getting frustrating.
Speaking of which, are Bacteria and Virus in the right order? It took my 20 tries to beat bacteria for the first time, but I beat Virus easily on my first attempt. If Virus is easier maybe that should be the starting level. |

Another having trouble with fungus. I do like that they're quite different but I haven't quite grasped what is making fungus so difficult. I find it weird that I can wipe out an entire country completely with fungus while not managing to infect even one person from the neighbouring countries. I'm guessing there's a strategy here I'm missing.
Anyone have any fungus tips? |

I've gotten close by pouring DNA into transmission and the fungal spores abilities, but I can never beat the cure. Like I said, my DNA always stops ticking up somewhere along the way and I just watch helplessly as humanity finds a cure.

I am still having a very difficult time with the fungus stage. I have infected almost the entire world, but by the time the death rate get going...the cure is there and I lose. I have tried this stage at least a dozen times...I'm starting to get a bit discouraged, honestly. As a result, I haven't been playing as much as I used to...
