We're happy to announce that the update of the Pinball Arcade for iOS (iPhone and iPad) is now available in both free and paid versions.
We're also very excited that the paid version will become the iOS App Store's Free App of the Week for a week starting tomorrow! We hope this exposes many new people to our obsession with classic pinball.
At Apple's request we will remove the free version from the store for a week during the promotion to avoid confusion. Apple says that our customers who have previously downloaded the free version will continue to have access to the update and in-app purchases during this time, but they didn't seem too sure of themselves- we recommend that everyone using the free version update their app (and buy the new tables if you want them) sometime today just in case you loose the ability to do so for a week.
And if you've been on the fence about joining our community on iOS then this next week will be a great time to do so- you'll get the paid version of the app (along with the great Tales of the Arabian Nights table) for free!

Why are they trying to raise for ST:TNG? That has to be harder and more expensive to license than Addam's Family Gold

I realize ST is rated higher on the IPDB (just barely) but it has to be a lot more expensive considering the IP than something that only had one TV show many years ago and a movie.

Get TAF:G first then I'll donate to ST:TNG. Seems like they're doing this backwards.

Farsight went for ST: TNG pinball because the liscenses were with the same company (i think cbs) as twilight zone (as well as the same price). Since they negotiated twilight zone, they had easy access to ST: TNG.

After the recent liscensing conference they went to, Farsight teased they had access to an important liscense that people want....they didnt say who, but everyone guesses its Adams family.

Apparently, the people behind TAF thought Farsight was too small fries to bother with...there was just not enough money for them to bother...so they thought....and then the most recent kickstarter hit....apparently whetted TAF liscense people's appetites enough to get them talking.

Now, I need to reiterate that the preceding story may not necessarily be TAF, but the overall story is what farsight said on their facebook page, though they wouldnt say which liscense it was with.

The only way i got round this was to delete the app and then download it again, then obviously click on each table to download it. Bit annoying i know but it gets rid of the white icon.

Why do I have to login via Facebook to enter the Leaderboards? Why not implement Gamecenter? Is this Zuckerbergs game?
