But I love playing both Mutant storm and space tripper, they are both great games that will always stay on my ipad. I used to love playing Robotron, and I get the same feeling from Mutant storm.

Sorry in not replying to this earlier... I've been caught up with doing contract work - which I'm doing at the moment with a week and a bit to go. As well as doing some of my own projects.

In a couple of weeks time I will start looking into the update. I really need to clone myself - I have too much work on at the moment

Damn great game. Punishingly hard but fun, especially when reaching a trance-like stance. Still must contend myself with white belt difficulty. Very happy to have it on my favorite gaming platform that just happens to be 100% mobile.

I know the developer is currently busy with other work, but I still want to reiterate how desirable the next update is to us players. The menus really are uncomfortably dark. I personally don't mind the lack of music track though -- that's simply how real old-school arcade games happen to sound like.

Me too, this would be hands down the best dual stick shooter on ios after the update with a lot of the planned changes. Hopefully, it is still coming right?

Had gamecenter turned off for a long time, then when I turned it back on recently, it reset all my status back to zero. Lost all belts and level progress. I think this is the same thing Syntheticvoid was talking about when he was mentioning losing local saves.

Just to let people know that Mutant Storm will not be updated now. The reasons are that the game under performed in sales and when you consider that the money has to be split between 3 companies then it makes no viable sense to update the game.

I worked pretty hard to get the game converted to iOS and that work was not rewarded.

In conclusion I don't think the App Store can support these types of games because they appeal to the hardcore game players who are a minority on that platform. Games like this need to sell around the $5 mark to make it worth while for the developers and the hard facts of the market dictate that people will not accept this price.

Anyway, thanks for anybody that bought the game and I'm very sorry that I promised an update but unfortunately I need to put food on the table and cannot afford more time on Mutant Storm. I hope people can understand this.

Thanks for the candor. iOS is really poisonous right now. It's a shame such a great game couldn't manage to be profitable.

This goes to show that having 10 billion apps in the app store with hundreds if not thousands new everyday, great games get lost in the shuffle. Such a shame, but I completely understand why and how. How will they fix this problem, I don't think they can. They let blatant Scam apps in the app store daily, and it's all just money to Apple. Quanity over quality should be the app store's motto! Or shouldn't be really...
