I'm playing this on an ipad 3 and so far without spending real money I am half way into Tier 2 with a 370z, I really like this game even though it's a simple drag racer, visually it's quite amazing too for a tablet running full retina.

I will throw the devs some money at some point but right now trying to see how far I can get before it's really limited.

The gameplay itself is really good, shame about IAPs. I recently played Car Club Tuning Storm which is similar and drag racing there are horrible compared to CSR.

Something it's wrong abotu sync between devices... I play on my iPad 3 and when try to sync iPhone all it's ok, but when I play a game it's bugged (car not move, green light always on etc..). Impossible to play.
And now returning on iPad 3 and game crash too...

I am now Level 24 Tier 4 and hasn't spend any real money. This game is quite addicting. I am loving it. It is just my 3rd day playing this game and I am already in Tier 4. There's a trick on how to level-up this fast.

By the way, loving this game. Simple but quite fun. Amazing graphics even. Playing on my iPad 3.

Regret it during pink-slipping Yoshiro's 370Z when Is see that his car is upgraded from T2 to T3... guess I've to max-out my car... trying it again during vs. Alieda.

Interesting. The gas system is the one that's holding back the progress, but it works fine for me since I dont have much gametime anymore.

Also, if the trick involves some clock forwarding, just no.

Been playing for about a day now, steadily made it to Tier 2.

The thing about not having to spend money for IAPs is that once you level up to the next tier, cars at that tier level become available for alternate purchase with the cash you make during races instead of gold. It surprised me to find the Camaro SS, always 29 gold and out of my grasp, to have an "OR $60K" tag above it once I made it to T2. So I'd say the game's only freemium if you're impatient because I've done quite a bit without spending one piece of gold.

As for leveling tricks -- I know it's bad, but I just move my time ahead by the hours to refill gas quickly so I can race more. But I've noticed that every time I attempt that exploit it actually takes +1 hour to do the trick. Like the first time I moved it up 1 hour, and I got a full tank. Second time I moved it up an hour, I only got half a tank. Add another hour and then it was full. No doubt it'll wear out at some point. The irritating thing is it takes much longer to regenerate on its own once you get to another tier so exploits don't seem like a bad idea if you're itching to race...

If you want to literally Level up to get +1 gold, I'd suggest taking advantage of those half price deals on cars. Every upgrade is worth about as much as a race in XP and I'm sure an upgrade to Stage 2 across the board will be enough to level up one.

That's all I know about this game so far. Hope it helps anyone new to it.
