Yay, Pepper's coming! I can't wait for update 1. I hope the Mega Jetpack (4) Bug is fixed.

Could there be a stage selection option in the pause menu? And also, when you unlock a powerup and hit "go to" and it shows it in the store, just a minor thing, but could the scroller also show the new powerup, rather than sitting at the start?

Pepper unlocks at Level 32. We aren't planning a level increase at this point. What we're leaning towards is a prestige-ing option, with rewards for each time you reach the level cap and restart. We'll be starting on Endless mode once World 5 is out the door, and we're excited for it!

We've had a couple of requests for stage select on the pause menu, and we're looking at a few other ways to streamline some the the UI. As for the store items - the item you are viewing should show in the scroll area on the left as a ghosted item whenever the main item is showing, by default. Or did you have something else in mind?

Nope, just about that part Because when unlocking something and hitting go to store straight from the powerup unlocked screen, it shows the powerup in the middle but the scroller is still at the first powerups. I'll go and grab a screenshot..

Lol, found a bug. If you have a Jetpack and hit a spike block, you will stop and start falling, but tapping the screen again triggers the Jetpack and you can move vertically until you stop holding and fall, or the Jetpack expires.

Would that be similar to Jetpack Joyride's leveling system?
Where it unlocks a new badge each time all missions are complete?

If that's the case (or close to it), that would be awesome.

@Quantum: ABout that bug, I think if there is a higher platform above you, hovering onto it will allow Redford to land on it and resume the level. :P

Yes, that's the idea!

Update 1 is now just waiting for approval from Apple, so it should be out soon.
In the meantime we're hard at work on World 5, which adds 3 new enemies and two new features along with 16 (challenging) new stages to explore!

Default Update 1 Is Out Now!

Update 1 for Mega Run is out now with a bunch of good stuff including:
  • Pepper, a new playable character from Mega Jump
  • New Intro cinematic (skippable of course) - play stage 1-1 to see it
  • A bunch of optimization
  • A ton of bug fixes including a fix for the Mega (red) Jetpack bug

It's up now, so update Mega Run for good times

Update 2, which includes World 5, is coming together very nicely, and we'll be submitting that as soon as we can.

There are some very big problems with Update 1. I just downloaded it and it says Pepper unlocks at level 99 (you said 32 in a previous post) Also, it's still impossible to level up past level 50! At least the Jetpack bug seems to be fixed though.

EDIT: I just shut down and restarted my iPod, and the problem seems to have fixed itself. Judging by the reviews on iTunes most people havn't figured this out however.

Yeah, there is a problem with the game not refreshing with the new content until the game is restarted. That'll be fixed in the next update, so this kind of things shouldn't happen again. We did fix some pretty big bugs though aside from that

World 5 is almost done and we're in the planning stages for the next few updates after that, so we're really excited for the coming months.
