The point is, this is the same price as iOS's flagship game series, which quite frankly, are already overpriced.

Games for more than a few pounds should be on consoles or PC, not phones.
It's none of your concern as the end user whether it's overpriced or not because you're not forced to buy anything. The fact that demand is up is the reason why prices escalate. Take comfort in the fact that only a handful of (major) developers that actually charge over $10.

I'm just excited to watch how technologies have developed in the past decade. I mean I'm one of the old generation of gamers who thought that gamegear was the best handheld ever invented. Now we can play unreal engine-powered games on our phones! Just be greatful..

Just got the game after watching the movie :P
Love the web swinging in the open world, but the graphics is a little disappointing to me. I'm using a 4s and some buildings just look so...pixely and blurry. Is this the case for the new iPad as well?

Thats something really amazing, I was thinking to try it but the 690+ Mb size is what I am avoiding, I would rather try a small few mb game instead :P

Totally agree, i say this all the time. Kids nowadays dont realise how lucky they are, in our days a game was $12 on TAPE and often were quite bad, as a kid saving up for that you were so disappointed if the game was dire.

Now kids are spoilt, moaning when a games more than a dollar ! I mean games are SOOO cheap even when theyre 3 or 4 dollars, i'm sure most of them get pocket money or if they have a job/part time job can easily afford a fair few games. The thing is as apps are so cheap its created an 'ios monster' who moans the second an app costs 2 dollars which is a joke. In a way i wish the app store started off with a MINIMUM of 3 dollars for a game. Whinging when an apps a few dollars is a joke.

I buy the Rayforce games (Granted quite 'dear') on iOS but if a 'premium' game is 5 dollars or so i still cant complain. Only issue i have is finding room on my device !

How much better? I mean, I'm also hesitate to buy this game for a while now.
I played the previous spiderman game and really like it.

Initially, I was going to buy it on the release date but after I watch the gameplay trailer I saw the very same fighting animation form the previous tile (Spider Man:Total Mayhem) which gets me wondering if Gameloft actually just make total mayhem a free-roam version? is it worth to buy? Money is not the problems but I don't want to get too disappoint.

Don't get me wrong, I just got tried of Total mayhem because my nephew always ask me to beat the game for him. I need a fresh spider-man title.

Yea.. It's the generation gap thing again innit? I bet these kids never even seen a super nintendo console. But I must say, freemium is about the same as spam mail to me LOL

Just watched the movie. It's heaps better than Raimi's due to the fact that this one has so much more character development. And this game is quite true to the movie's basic plot, which is good IMO.

And yeah, this game is very sexist.
