I'm enjoying the gameplay--nice graphics and environments, good control, overall fun--but waiting to play the game? You've got to be kidding me. What is this nonsense? My new phrase for something that is so ridiculous in a game is LOSE IT.
I guess until they LOSE IT I'll just go use the bathroom or microwave popcorn while I wait in between rounds. |

I am actually really enjoying the game...but this energy timer has to be a major bug, right? I have to wait 794 minutes for one energy? Needs a fix!

The iaps seem totally optional to me.
I have been playing this game for 2 days, I am able to purchase the assault rifle, the sniper rifle and the sword without spending a single dollar. I have also gathered enough gold to upgrade my character's dexterity to 5 stars, and the rest to 3. I have never encountered the clock bug mentioned, normally for 1 energy point I just have to wait for five mins. Plus, your energy gauge recharge and increase every time you level up, which is fairly easy. The gold can be regarded as the premium currency of the game, but it can be earned without paying real money, e.g. by lifting survivors or searching containers. I find that the bonus or the hard level scavenger missions give higher chances popping out gold coins when you search the containers thoroughly. Each coin gives to 150-200 gold, which is pretty rewarding. This game has decent graphic and excellence character animations. The auto aim system makes the game fast paced and fun. Different performances and different shooting mechanisms of the guns also enhance the game. It may require a little grinding to buy a better gun, but large choices of missions make it less boring. Overall, this is a nice pick up and play zombie shooting game despite a few bugs. |

I've figured out that the clock counts down normally if to leave it active in your taskbar. The funny thing is, as much as I hate this damn game, it has more character than 99% of the games on the AppStore. This becomes apparent once you start sprucing up your HQ. Like I said, this game is either seriously bugged or a scam, and the energy system is whack to begin with...but I can't stop playing! The funny thing is that premium currency is pretty easy to get; between airlifting survivors and leveling up, I've accumulated over 2000 gold...way easier than Dead Trigger, a paid for game. I'm just hoarding it, hoping for a bug fix.
I swear, at 1.99 w/out the energy bs, this could be a top paid app. |

Played more. Getting interesting.
The game can be too easy on certain mission types especially barrier mode. Beat the mission on hard just with a baseball bat, and you earn around 2k to 3k. Beating the bonus mission can earn gold coins and energy point from loot. I earned 200 gold from a loot. Bottom line: Balanced freemium game. Play on normal or hard, but never try hard on boss battles unless you have gold to spare. |

That's the opposite of what seems to work for me. I have to leave it on in the background unless I want to wait a full 24 hours for my energy to recharge.. Game center has only picked up one of the achievements as well. Dunno if my phone is screwed up from constantly deleting/installing apps and never having synced it; iCloud might be up to some funny business, to be completely honest, I'm not quite sure what it is doing.

I'm having the same issue, if the game reboots at all it adds around 500 minutes to the energy counter...I have been waiting for it to count down for 3 days now, and I haven't been able to play a single mission since then
