Battle for Wesnoth, Uniwar HD, Mechowars... pick 1!

More of a newbie to the genre so don't want to be way overwhelmed. But don't want something too easy

Wesnoth and Uniwar are both great games. I would say for a beginner to go with Uni because the tutorial is excellent and easy to follow and the maps stay a reasonable size. However, if you are looking for a good story and something to sink tons (and I mean tons) of time into, go with Wesnoth. Personally, although I like both, I prefer wesnoth.

What are people's opinions on dangerous, the free roam space game. Sounds pretty good, but apparently there are some problems with clutter on the iPhone.

Edit: Also, Earth and Legend looks alright. How does that compare to Aralon (which I spent quite a bit of time with)?

Hello all,

A lot of people borrow my iPod, and it sucks that they can't replay most of my completed puzzle games. Anyone have suggestions for memoryless, pick-up-and-play games that can be played in intervals of 3-15 minutes at a time? (Memoryless meaning you basically start from scratch each time).

Granted, this may skew the suggestions to more casual games, but I don't mind. I'm on iPod touch 3G, 64GB, OS5.1.

These are my favorites of the bunch in the category:
- Dungeon Raid
- Tilt to Live
- Flight Control
- Forget-me-not
- Super Crate Boy

Also got these:
- Doodle Jump
- Bejeweled (new version)
- Fruit Ninja
- Traffic Rush
- Jetpack Joyride
- Temple Run

Thanks all!
edit: hm, realized there's a lack of puzzle games here. If you have suggestions which fit the criteria, please give them as well.

Triple Town, Spelltower, Muffin Knight and Blast Soccer if you liked SCB, Fruit Ninja Puss in Boots, Flick Soccer/Golf/QB, and most endless runners and the like.
