I totally understand what you're saying. I've had at least 10 firework fails and it's driving me crazy! I've hatched two and displayed a third. I've seen some people in my friends list that already have three ruby dragons! It's so frustrating. But it's still early yet. I'll just keep trying.

Good luck everyone!

Yes...me too. I'm collecting Firework eggs at the moment.

I'll answer your questions in order. Also hope some of our forum friends can help me out on a few of these if I am mistaken/confusing:

1) I think the number of visitors just shows how popular your park is. You can make it better with more dragons and decorations. Then again, I never really pay attention to it much. It doesn't do much besides that.

2) You are correct. As they level up, they change their appearances and get bigger until the dragons are level 7 (adult form). Once you unlock the Colosseum, you can put a dragon in there to get exp, gold and gems once a day. The higher the level, the more likely that you will get 5 gems, a lot of gold and a lot of exp for yourself. And then when you unlock the element shrines (starting at level 18), your dragons can go beyond level 10 (the max before then) after you get 50 dragons of that element to level 10.

3) Yes, you are also correct. Treat farms can also be upgraded when you are at level 10 (large treat farm) and level 16 (huge treat farm). There will be more treats available for you to grow.

4) Upgrading the nursery will give you one more space to put your eggs that you get from breeding. It is recommended that you do this as breeding fails will start happening soon lol! And don't worry about using up all of your gems, we can all exchange gems through the gifting option. Just send us friend request by putting our Game Center ID in your game center account. Once we accept it, you will be able see our parks and be able to gift gems in the Friends button (bottom right hand side) in your Dragonvale game. Oh, and you can get gold from our parks (symbolized by 3 party hats).

5) I would not be surprised if they did! Dragons are magical creatures after all.

It's a lot to take in, but this will make sense (especially #2) as you level up your park. And you can always ask us for help here
Welcome HLW! Aiera did a great job in giving you a rundown of the game- she obviously has a better memory than I. LOL! The one thing I want to add, is that your dragons have to be at least level 4 in order to breed them.
Also, they do generate coins in their habitats. Different ones have different rates and these rates increase as you feed them & level them up. Have fun being a dragon master!

Oh, I plan on it. Have to get a ruby as I have a son born in July...in fact he was due on the 4th, but he was 16 days late!

I'm concerned since with all the Fireworks fails trying for Ruby, I was looking forward to Fireworks' end. If its around until the 20th it may be a mad race until the end of the month to get a Ruby.

Aly, thank for thinking of us while we were having procedures. Being in Philly, was nice and also hard. Difficult watching your child get wrapped up in bracing and pulled as tight as possible like a Scarlett O'hara corset. Also having her scared a bit over all the procedures is sad for me. She is a trooper and taking it all in stride (for the most part, she has had a few cries over how hard it is to breathe deeply, climb thru playground equipment or sit for long periods in hot stuffy airports. But one day at a time.

Also, we stayed with friends and being in the suburbs, they had no 3G network! Akkk! We couldn't play dragonvale or check forums! We spent most of our layover in the airports, waiting for their slow overloaded system to load but we didn't care. It passed time and took her mind off the brace.

Now we get to try for Rubies!!! Congrats to everyone who managed a ruby already... elusive sucker isn't it. And thanks as always for sharing the breeding combo secret... would be lost without them! That's so funny and slightly cruel that hubby got one so quickly for Jaz? if I'm not mistaking the wrong person. Also HaPpY BiRtHdAy to Yasha!!!! Heehee funny kori that you called us the broke family, love it... It's my nickname for how broke I'll be if my family keeps up w these video games. Sofa... I have 9 siblings and they screamed sofa and sat on me (name is Sofia). I still answer to Sofa.

Best of all the gaming juju, luck, karma, and all that fun game magic on getting our RUBIES!!
Hi, Sofa-(Hee! Hee! Loved that story!). Glad to hear that all went well. Your daughter sounds very brave. I hope she adjusts well to the brace and that she is surrounded by kind & understanding friends through all this.

You were in Philly?as in Philadelphia? That's near me!! I'm in the Phila. suburbs (Doylestown, Bucks County) and 3G can be VERY spotty. good luck in your Ruby quest! It's nice to hear that this game helped you & your family pass the time and ease some of the discomfort.
Hugs to you & your daughter.
