most immersive/atmospheric games?

Hi!!

I was always wondering about the impact of music&sound on our general reception i.e. in movies, games or commercials. I'm a game songwriter and sound designer, so I know that at the begining of creating any soundtrack we get some tunes as a pattern to follow. It's a pretty good way to organize work...but somtimes it's really boring. Is there any chance to start work on a game from music?? Maybe that's just a dream
