the FEW - realtime aerial strategy game

Hi

My name is Robert, I run a BlackMoon Design (http://blackmoondev.com) indie game studio.

We're in the process of finishing a realtime strategy game called "the Few".
It depicts the Battle of Britain - the aerial combat for Britain during the WWII.

The player decides both about strategic choices (which planes to build, where to send reinforcements, where each squadron should fly on patrol) as well as tactic battles.

Here's a strategic map screenshot:

And a sneak-peak of how the tactical part look like:

The game is developed with Adobe AIR (Flash basically) and will be released for iOS (both iPhone and iPad version), PC/Mac and possibly for BB Playbook, Android and Kindle Fire.
We plan to release the game by the end of September 2012.

Here's the video from the early development version gameplay:

(anybody knows how to embed youtube videos into the post?)

I'll keep this post updated with new info about the game - in the meantime (if you would like to show us some support - you can "like" the Few page at Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Few/403159003080042

Shoot me a reply, facebook message or tweet @blackmoondev if there's anything you would like to know about this game.

Been thinking about this game a bit. The idea of making the grand strategy yourself and fighting the battles tactically is brilliant, much like the Total War games.
However, as a optional update in the future (IAP?) maybe we could fight actual engagements as they were and see if we could change history.
Also, do you get to play both sides? I never get bored of saving blighty from the hun but sometimes it's nice to be the bad guys.

We plan to make the game as historically accurate as possible (so - if history book says there was a major bombing strike at Coventry on 3rd of August - you can expect that in the game as well).
We plan to have Single-player RAF campaign at first and than add multi-player and Luftwaffe campaign as the later update.

We've made some huge changes to the map (see below)

And here's a sneak of the squadron rooster (you can see the pilots are all different, right?

The game looks great, glad its keeping to proper historical facts etc and not changing how it was back then.

I'll be getting this for sure, looks really good
