Edited to add, I have just been reading this company's Facebook page, and I would seriously advise everyone NOT to spend any money on this game...there are a lot of people with the same problems as I have (being ripped off on gem purchases and not getting a refund, having all their progress lost), and the developer does absolutely NOTHING to fix these issues. I can attest to having had the runaround on my own refund for almost a month, now, so, yeah...something shady is going on, here. :-( I definitely won't be playing again from level 1 to level 45; it was fun to do once, but I'm really not enthused about doing it all again. This is SO disappointing.

Does anyone else have the problem of the defence tower getting 'stuck' in being assembled? I've been building my first one for a day and a half now and there only seems to be any progress when you have the island opened.

Yes - there are a couple posts about it. I got them built by starting them, plugging my IPad into the charger and leaving it on that screen.

I tried going to Apple support to get my refund, and they told me I had to go to the developer. :-( So I've basically been screwed.

I've also had earlier issues with this app and trying to deal with the apps customer service was ridiculous and frustrating....I kept at it though and they eventually refunded my lost gems...I did start the app again but that was when I was up to lvl 22....now I'm about to hit lvl 50 and there's no way I will start it again if it resets itself.....a few have had this issue on this thread also, and due to this I had already stopped purchasing anymore crystals.

I'm pretty shocked at Apples response.....quiet a while ago, I had a couple of issues with apps not performing well (both purchases, not games) and they refunded me because of it...maybe that's a different matter.

Have you told Apple that you are not getting anywhere with the devs and that this issue is affecting many gamers?

If you do regular back ups via iTunes....I thought you could reinstate the game from your last back up....maybe someone more savvy can confirm this or at worst ask the app support this question.....yeah, it's a last resort and I totally get the frustration with them.

Such a shame, cos its a great app but badly let down by too many glitches and poor support....each update adds more glitches (quests in particular)

Wish I could offer more help.....I'm going to back up mine now....I also take screen shots as proof of what level I'm on etc....probably no point but trying to cover all avenues I guess?

Good luck with the app support (or lack of) I'm sure they hope people will just give up trying to deal with them, they've got our money and don't seem to care about a good reputation or fixing this ongoing issue that they absolutely know is happening....maybe leave a review about this to alert others thinking of downloading it?

I'm not sure why Apple wasn't more helpful--they have refunded me in the past when I had problems with a dishonest developer, but it was for a lot more money, that time.

Can I restore just one app from a backup, or would I have to reset my whole iPad? Because if I would have to reset the whole thing by a week or so, I can't really do that, because I use it a lot for work, and there's a ton of stuff that's actually important on there, which I can't risk messing up or losing just for lost game levels. :-(

It's so frustrating, how they keep piling on more and more expansions, but do NOTHING to address the bugs that have been present through update after update, wasting people's money, and not answering their support messages. I even tried leaving them messages on Facebook...no replies there, either.

I don't really have the will to read through the 80 pages to find out if this has been discussed, but what is the best, or more to the point fastest way to make money? Is the obvious answer the correct answer, volley ball courts? If so, I have 16 of them on two of my islands, and 8 on another, and making money seems really slow, possibly slower than it felt before. I still need a 3.5 million territory on Marble Fiord, and now 7 million in just the visible territories on Murlod Island. I had over 10 million when the latest patch came out, and that seemed to get me almost nowhere. They raised the cost of territory way too much. Also, they lowered the cost of grass patches from 100,000 to 10,000, but then added the tennis statue for 500,000 EACH? That is insane, and a quest requiring you to build 4 is even insane-er. Come to think of it, they may have only been listed at 100,000, I don't know if they actually cost that much. I doubt I would have nearly as many as I do if they did. One last thing, is it just me, or is $100 real money for $60,000 ($300,000 at the moment) in this game the single biggest rip off in the history of the world, ever? Well, except that app that existed for a day or two that was $1000, and didn't do anything at all, except show people that you essentially paid $1000 to brag.

Hi there, well I didn't calculate the gold/village per hr, so I can't tell you which building give you the most gold. But if you were really into it, you should check how much gold 1village would bring in every hr, that way you can determine which building is most profitable, also remember that each building cost you gold to start the job, so you should check the profit margin per villager per hr.

Main thing for me is I play hard core in the 2x 4hrs frame. During those 8hrs, nothing but making gold, I'm starting to slack off thou, not be able to finish the quest due to the item hasn't dropped really killing the mojo.

Another thing about this update is gold sink. Yes, the tennis statue is ridiculous, they basically asked us to spent 2mil for like 1k reward, like how can you justify that. Not only that, it only gives 200 happiness, compare it to the harvest cart, cost 50k n gives 100happiness, so 10times cheaper n half the happiness, I know what I would buy to boost my happiness lvl.

Apart from that, the searching for the crystal quest to open murlord also require a bit of gold. All in all, with this update, assuming you buy all territories, you will lose about 18mil, then quest, etc (without doing the tennis statue), you will need probably another 3mil at least (reason for 3mil is because for a good 4days my money would not go up, and I thought it might be a bug, but now it's steady going up once I got all houses n collisium built, on the first 3 island). This is a very rough estimate as I only got through half of the crystal quest. And until someone get to murlord, we will not know how much it cost over there

Conclusion, it might seem slow in earning money each new update comes, however once you build everything in that update, the period between that and new update is when you see your gold raise very fast
