I'm very glad to see the update. It's massive! Now the game will be more interesting and addictive. Good job guys! It's still my favorite game. Updated my review:

Absolutely amazing game!
I can describe this game with one word - WOW! if someone ask me what is your favorite iOS game right now I must say Cutlass Cove! It's so addictive game! The game absolutely great! Beautifull graphics with great smooth animations and sound effects. Also very cool background music. The physics in the game is great too. The game is very easy to understand how to play. Your ship need to survived in the ocean by destroying all kinds of ships, you also have 8 voodoo spells which are helps you in some critical situations. There are different kinds of ships, some of them is not so dangerous but some of them such as Pirate ship is very dangerous. The controls in the game is very convenient but you need to play a bit to get accustomed. There are also a lot of achievements which are very important because it helps you to collect more points. Cutlass Cove uses GameCenter and OpenFeint integration you can compete with your friends it's really fun! Amazing game! Definitely recommended! Thanks for the this big update!

In Cutlass Cove you're a pirate doing what pirates do best plundering merchants, getting rid of rival pirates, and sinking Navy ships that try to stop you! You get some Voodoo spells you can use like, summon Davy John's Hand to sink ships, create twisters to destroy ships, or create a whirlpool to suck up all the other ships you get these spells and more to help you get the highest score you can!
The graphics for Cutlass Cove are very polished and look great with the animations for all the spells. The music is great and very fitting along with all the sound effects are top notch. The controls are great, easy to learn and very responsive though I do at times get the guns mixed up for which side is which but that is something you quickly get used to. The recent update to the game has added more depth to the game and increased your scoring abilities! It's great to see a game that gets better and better every time they update it. There are tons of achievements to get along with openfeint and GameCenter support to keep you striving for the highest score. You also have ranks which require three different objectives to rank up and give a higher multiplier for even higher scores!
The objectives can be very challenging at times but are rewarding once you get past them and keep you coming back for more.
Overall this is a great game that's easy to pick up and learn but has enough challenges and fun things to do that you will keep coming back for more. This is a quality product that has developers that are constantly striving to improve it in anyway possible. At this price everyone should pick this game up because it's an absolute steal!

Have been playing this game quite a bit today and I'm really impressed!!!
It has all the right ingredients for a game to win a gamer over and more need to know of and play this game
It has excellent graphics and effects when you call them up from the voodoos' inventory
You job is to man your ship through the enemy waters and survive as long as you can
The game has really neat controls to steer your ship and double canons for left or right shooting
The games sound effects are thrilling
I listened to the game with headsets on and the sound quality is clean and impressive
This game appears to have no IAP and I'm not complaining!
This game is tons of fun and creates that one more time feeling which is good
Great job Devs and much success

Watch out the game is quite addicting I have been on a quest to get all the achievements but the Back to the Future one is not going so well haha

Loving on this game. Took me a moment to get used to the steering controls, but they make sense when controlling a ship. Things can get frantic pretty quickly, but the addition of over-the-top special abilities (each with unique mechanics) really adds a lot to the game. Basic unlockables and objectives add lasting value.

Oh, and there's no IAP.


Couple of suggestions:
- have cannon cooldown/overheat apply separately to each side
- additional maps with islands/obstacles
- additional ships with different characteristics

I just improved my highscore LOL Now it's over 12 millions! Can anyone beat it please ?
The game is highly addictive. I like new features in the game.

It will be great if you create also a multiplayer feature

@Capricornman, strivemind: I'm glad you guys are enjoying the game! That's some good suggestions there, strivemind. For now I will just mention that you can prevent your cannons ever overheating no matter how often you shoot by keeping your accuracy high (above 65%). Not an easy feat when you've only just started playing.

@armoko: Congrats, man! That's an incredible score. I think you might have broken the OpenFeint leaderboard. It's certainly looking stretched to accommodate your insane score. Did you get rank 24 yet?
