Yeah, this looks really good on the new ipad. Probably the best graphics out there for a freemium game. It would be a good first game on your system. Also, get the freemium Major Mayhem, it is good too.

Trying to decide what to upgrade/what to buy. Any guns/upgrades considered "must haves" or really solid additions? I bought the Lewis and love that. I bought the minigun, but feel COMPLETELY ripped off - the thing sucks.

I just hit rank 13, so I don't have all guns/upgrades available yet.

Question about the game...Do harder rank missions provide a significantly higher reward vs 1 or 2 skull missions? Sometimes, I feel like the odds are stacked way against in those missions, ha.

Just saying, I have a non jailbroken iPod touch 4th gen and a jailbroken one. The game plays fine on my jailbroken one and sh*tty on my non jailbroken device. That makes no sense to me.


P.S. I don't use my jailbroken device for illegal things.

may be a ios 5 issue, i have ios 4.3 on my itouch 4th gen and no issues. i will never load ios 5.

Why not? I'm on 4.3.3 on my iPhone but 5.1.1 on my iPad. Haven't had any problems with iOS 5 so far.

Ok guys, since the game went free, I played DT on my iPad 2 over the weekend and I have some observations to share.

1) Game is much more sensitive on the iPad. It took some time to get used to things, but this is better on the overall. With half a swipe, I can turn 180-degrees, where as on my Android tablet, it took me at least 2 swipes to achieve the same result.

2) Game is sooooooooo much smoother. Graphics look better. Mind you I am coming from a Tegra 3 tablet!!! Things we actually pretty smooth already on Android tab, but the iPads smoothness cannot be expressed.

3) Lots of price difference.

4) Tapjoy much better on the iPad, and gives much much more reward. In about 45 minutes (while doing other stuff), I managed to get 600 golds.

PS: I bought the speed boost and minigun. Minigun is disappointing. Takes time to load up, and then no ammo drops at ALL!!! Speed boost just makes you glide through the levels. Very nice, but makes supply missions way too easy (no complaints).

Best part is I saved from Android to cloud, downloaded progress to iPad, got gold and resaved to cloud from iPad, and finally redownloaded on Android. Flawless!!!

Since it is actually difficult to die in this game, I don't think there are many people actually using Revive Kit. So I give it a try and see how it go, and it is amazing!!! The animation is awesome, just go ahead and use it yourself.

FYI, unless you got bored of it and want to try something else, you can actually kill SWAT with just one grenade.

Agree on the revive animation - would have been cool to see a development of some parts of that animation in the normal shooting, so literally blowing holes in the middle of zombie chests or just taking lumps out of them.

Or some kind of laser, as the animation looks like the zombie vaporises. Maybe laser is too unrealistic......unlike zombies which are real!

iOS 5 slows down the itouch a lot.
