We've been using Unity3D to develop 'The Day I Tried...'. Recently they released a beta of their next version - Unity4. One of the cool new features they added was support for real-time shadows on mobile devices.
I recently updated the game to support Unity4's shadows. Here are some new screenshots showing the latest developments - humans, water, the dock / waterfront and real time shadows. No specific date right now.
Before I first announced TDIT, I had a specific design and scope in mind. Since that time I've re-examined it and decided to strengthen the survival mode aspects among other things. My plan is to make this the best game it can be. The downside is that this does take longer to develop. Cheers, Ian |
