Glad to see there are some interesting discussions going on here. We've been hard at work on the update for Fieldrunners 2 (v1.1) and I'm pleased to say that it was submitted a few days ago and it should be going live soon. It makes some of the harder maps more accessible without directly decreasing difficulty, we reduced the number of waves on some of the really long maps (but you can still play endless), fixed the bug with difficulty on endless mode, fixed the bug with wave 31 on Curious Gorge, and we fixed just about every issue mentioned in this thread. We also added a few small surprises
Lots of progress has been made with the iPad version as well, and I hope to be able to get an ETA on that in the next couple weeks. Additionally, keep your eyes out for something special happening with the original Fieldrunners
On top of all this, the original Fieldrunners is currently in the "name your own price" Humble Bundle for Android
- not totally relevant, but this bundle includes DRM-free versions of the original Fieldrunners for PC, Mac, and Ubutnu, as well as the Steam and Android versions. Grabbing a copy of the bundle will also get you BIT.TRIP BEAT, SpaceChem, Uplink, and Spirits - all great games. This bundle is something I'm personally excited about because it seems like a really cool distribution method, and I've been hoping to get involved with it since it first started. Of course, it would be amazing if iOS games were included. But on the plus side, some of the money you spend on the bundle goes to charity!
