New to this thread but seen the trailers, man finally a resident evil ( authentic one) for iOS. Looks absolutely amazing. Definately a day one buy for me.

Anyone know the eta for this game? too busy on other threads to go through pages on this one to find out. Thanks

This isn't resident evil, it's more like the suspense/horror of dead space 1 and silent hill with the gameplay of dead space 1 (without sci fi setting). RE is more like an action shooter with horror elements.
Eta is this year, around Christmas.

And I loved it too (OFF-TOPIC: too bad that Dead Space 3 seems to be more action-based than horror-based, hope I'm wrong and the game won't take the path that Capcom chose with RE4 and newer REs).

The "O.o" was because... Well, the game doesn't remind me of Dead Space, gameplay-wise or story-wise. It reminds me more of RE 1, 2 and 3 and almost any Silent Hill (not Shattered Memories or the iOS game of course lol). I would like to know if the game has some "traps" like in the first Alone In The Dark or the second one though. BTW, these are good survival-horror games if you didn't play them.
