True, but its not technically and Infinity Blade game, its more of a in-name-only type of thing. It wasn't even going to be affiliated with IB originally. But regardless, I'm sure it will be great, and I agree it should be out later this year, late fall-early winter. I doubt it will go to 2013, but you never know. I just wish they'd give us something...

From what I've read the game contains A LOT of new info about the ib universe, including the reign og Ausar the Terrible. So I'd say it's technically infinity blade.

He is just reiterated, where the developers have said, that the game was originally its own standalone game and then they turned it into an IB game. It was just a random dungeon crawler the company was allowing a few employees to work on. After the "game jam" session they liked the look of it and made it IB: Dungeons.

so err...right now it's an infinity blade game right?

It's an Infinity Blade game, in the sense that it is tied into the world and the storyline. But the gameplay won't be very similar. It's like Halo Wars vs the other Halo games. It was a completely different genre, but still a "Halo game".

The gameplay is still similar to the swipe to attack system the first infinity blade games had.

I'm looking forward to this game.. Day 1 purchase for me.. Might do a walkthrough of it as well.

I really happy that they added crafting and free movement.
